What’s all this then, eh?

This is the development blog for my homebrew rpg: Steam and Sorcery.

Ok, I bite. What’s Steam and Sorcery?

Steam and Sorcery is an old school 8-bit dungeon crawler with some modern twists developed for the Commodore 64. It will have a victorian era steampunk theme mixed with some fantasy elements.

Allright, but why though?

Well, mostly nostalgia and a desire to finally make good on some decades old promise I made to myself to write my own game on the C64.

So, can I play it?

No. Right now I am still working on the basics and almost everything you can see of the game are still mostly mockups.

Ah it’s one of those things that never gets finished, right?

Maybe. I would be lying if I told you it will certainly be finished since I do this in my spare time, but I’ll try my best.

And what am I supposed to do in the meantime?

Well you can follow my development misadventures in this blog, look at some artwork and (mockup) screenshots, or check out the concepts and story outlines as they get created.
